Consumer Confidence in Ukraine
Consumer Confidence – a monthly survey of consumer households expectations and their opinions about the current economic situation and their own financial standing. The Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) is the main indicator used around the world to determine how trends on consumer markets are being assessed. CCI is considered a leading indicator, meaning that it provides a forecast for potential changes in demand for the upcoming period.

- We have access to indicator dynamics and data collected since year 2000.
- Possibility of consumer confidence index analysis for various regions, types of settlement, age, financial situation, occupation – by profession and sphere, etc.
- Two times a year (spring and autumn) we add a question block about consumer confidence toward large purchases and savings.
- Since an international methodology is applied, a comparison of consumer confidence indexes with other countries, such as the USA and European countries, is possible.

The Consumer Confidence survey in Ukraine was a joint project of GfK Ukraine and ICPS during June 2000 – January 2011. Starting from February 2011, GfK Ukraine is the only executor of this study.
