July 22, 2010 - Kyiv, Ukraine (July 22, 2010) – The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) released results of a public opinion survey of Ukrainian attitudes toward retirement and pension reform at a presentation held at the President Hotel in Kyiv on July 22, 2010. Commissioned by the USAID Capital Markets Project and the USAID Financial Sector Development Project (FINREP), the survey covered the following topics: retirement age and providing for retirement, knowledge and opinions about pension reform, saving habits, financial awareness, and confidence in state and private financial institutions. more >>

Ten unknown facts about domestic violence in Ukraine: a joint EU/UNDP Project releases new poll results

January 15, 2010 - Nearly half of Ukrainian population suffered from domestic violence in their lives, and 30% were subjected to violence in their childhood age. Women more often suffer from domestic violence in their adult life, while men – in their childhood, as a new public poll suggests. The survey looked at violence in Ukrainian families, with its scope and in-depth analysis being conducted for the first time over the past 10 years in Ukraine. The poll was carried out by GfK Ukraine and commissioned by "Equal Opportunities and Women’s Rights in Ukraine Programme", a joint project of the European Union and UN Development Programme in Ukraine. more >>

IRI Releases Survey of Crimean Public Opinion

December 29, 2009 - IRI released a survey of Crimean public opinion. The poll, conducted November 5-December 4, 2009, is a comprehensive analysis of attitudes regarding the Crimean economic, social and political landscape. The survey was fielded by GfK Ukraine under the supervision of IRI. more >>
